Move the tractor to the slightest incline, and the dip stick doesn’t read anything at all. Here I had smelled a bad smell and immediately turned off the machine. After much fussing I concluded it was low by about 1 gallon. Seems to have fixed the problem, but gosh I can’t wait to have a dead level location to do maintenance. Nothing is perfectly level around here.
I thought I had heard a loud crashing sound in the night, but never found any damage - until I found this today. It’s already rusting.
